House + Bloom

House + Bloom is a husband and wife duo based on south Vancouver Island. They help people find a home and make it beautiful or get one ready for sale, with professional styling advice along the way. Essentially: realty and styling, in one. Chris + Alison make a fantastic team and their complementary personalities and skill sets come together to help their clients beautifully.

With their brand identity, I wanted to illustrate the idea of complementary elements coming together to make something unique. In the wordmark - a trustworthy, grounded, refined serif is paired with a fluid, energetic script. The result is a logo that conveys all of those ideas in a simple, direct way. Supplementary design elements are designed to give the brand a boutique look and feel. The website brings together copy by Sarah Pollard and photography by Taylor Roads and tells the story of the brand and service offerings in a simple, inviting easy-to-navigate website.
