Sally Glover - The Wildflower Books

Sally Glover is the author of The Wildflower Books - a series of romance novels set on Orcas Island in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to create a sense of aliveness with her brand identity and to convey that these books are a playful, fun escape from the everyday. We pulled inspiration from Pacific Northwest botanicals to create a logo for The Wildflower Books series - featuring ferns, California poppy, Nootka rose, and bluebells.

I then designed book covers for the first two books in the series - The Farthest Star & Second Chance Rose (more to come). Each one features the main female protagonist set within a landscape with subtle cues to the story throughout. Botanicals and other natural elements frame the characters and set the stage for romance to unfold.
